My Story

My wellness journey began in the depths of chronic stress where the pressures of life began to overshadow my health. Over a period of about 15 years I found that stress had continued to pile on and I was steering my life via grit, perseverance and resilience. I added personal and professional challenges each year to continue growing or to manage responsibilities. But very little stress came off. It kept adding up.

Although I appeared healthy on the outside, my body and mind were reaching a breaking point. The stress started to manifest in several ways - anxiety, depression and ultimately a painful auto-immune disorder. It was definitely a wake-up call. I was on the brink of burnout and likely more health issues.

I made a bold decision—to step away from my corporate career and fully embrace a new path, one rooted in healing, whole-body wellness, and the power of nature. Through deep personal transformation, I discovered the profound impact of nutrition, multi-dimensional health, grounding practices, and wilderness immersion on long-term health and vitality.

I turned to nature (hiking, mountaineering, gardening, camping) as ways to disconnect and then - reconnect and renew!

I began to learn about holistic health and sought solutions that would support my healing. Through physical, spiritual and mental health practices, journaling, experimenting with nutrition, and embracing mindfulness — I discovered a path to vibrant health that not only transformed my physical state but also rejuvenated my spirit.

Today, I share my story to inspire others to reclaim their wellness, reminding them that transformation starts from within. I help people refresh their wellness, connect with nature, and embrace new beginnings using their inner wisdom.

My education at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition was originally to learn all about nutrition but I walked away with a much broader perspective of health and wellbeing. Food is secondary to our lifestyle - physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social health - all are so connected and important for holistic health.

I became my first client and coached myself to a holistic and joyful wellness.

Now, I hold space for people at the brink of burnout and help them begin a new wellbeing journey. I’ve been there and will walk with you as you improve wellbeing and joy.

My professional background

I spent 3 decades working in a variety of roles within healthcare, information technology, business process, corporate strategy, transformational change and innovative solution development.
